Get in touchWe provide healthy morning tea and afternoon tea. You are required to provide lunch for your child. We have a No Nuts policy, which we appreciate your cooperation on. The no nuts policy includes peanut butter, Nutella and nut bars. We prefer children do not bring in sweets i.e., chocolate and lollies as we highly encourage healthy eating.
Due to a recent policy around minimising choking hazards, the following foods will not be served at Manaaki. We also ask that you exclude these foods from your child’s lunch box:
Please feel free to bring in hot kai for your child, as we do have the facilities to heat these foods.
You are required to bring your child a bottle and formula either daily or to be kept at Manaaki. We do provide Cow’s Milk, however specialty milks must be provided by you
We require a minimum two week period of regular visits to Manaaki prior to your child’s start date. This helps to ensure you child’s transition is smooth, and that they are comfortable in our setting with our teachers. We also want parents to feel comfortable leaving their children in our care.
Your child will have a primary carer who will support your child’s transition. Your child’s care moments (bottles, meal times, sleep and nappy changes) will be done solely by this carer while your child is finding their place at Manaaki.
For visits we have an open-door policy.
